Brain Health, ADHD, and Autism
We will be finishing up on the posts about your brain health and giving some insights for ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia…stay tuned, but I wanted to share this tip with you now.
We want to protect our loved ones, but many of us also want our friends and family to see what our kiddos are up to. So, we post pics of them online.
But, if you ever post photos from your mobile device, this is a real safety concern:
-
This video is a must see if you don’t know how to stop people from knowing EXACTLY where on a Google map you took EVERY photo you post.(If you can’t see this video, here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2vARzvWxwY)
Of course, you probably want your phone to transmit your location for your Navigation/Map. You CAN have it both ways. Here are the details. For more detailed descriptions than the summary below on how to change privacy on your phone, go to this website: http://icanstalku.com/how.php
for the iPhone:
Go to Settings
then, General (or Privacy)
then, Location Services
then, Slide to off: Camera, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
for the Android
start the Camera app
Go to the Menu on the camera application(On mine, this is the little gear icon.)
Then Options (or Camera options)
Then turn OFF Geotagging
I hope that helps.
